Did you know?
that the majority of young people in Hackney have nothing to do with crime and in particular nothing to do with street robbery
a small number of individuals are responsible for nearly all the muggings in Hackney
many of them are now serving time in prison
you can get up to 5 years (or more) inside for street robbery
it can take a victim years to get over the effects of a mug- ging - that's why the Police and the Courts are taking such a hard line
leaders of street robbery gangs usually try to bully their mates into helping them
If you hang out with a gang or an individual who is committing street robbery or you are being bullied into going along with them, don't forget - you have a choice not to get involved. Eventually you'll get caught!
Remember - only Cowards mug people!
RESPECT. NOT ROBBERY
