Cream coloured concertina with 'Merry Christmas from Matchbox R and D' printed on front. Illustrated with workers at Matchbox and signed with all names of workers drawn in the card.
Object history
Matchbox was a toy company, die-casting small, metal toys that fit into matchboxes. Popular throughout the 50s to 80's.
Bought from an auction and donated. Would have been sent out to other companies, friends of Matchbox and possibly family members of the workers.
