Black Salvation Army uniform including a black coat, two belts, and a hat with a red 'Salvation Army' ribbon, black bow and chin strap.
Blue 'S' metal pin on each side on the coat collar with 'blood & fire' inscribed inside.

Object history
This Salvation Army uniform belonged to Annie Beatrice Poore, an active member in the Haggerston Corp of the Salvation Army.
Annie who was born in Dalston on 17th August 1900. During her early years her family lived at various addresses across Hackney.
Both of Annie Poore's parents were members of the Haggerston Corp of the Salvation Army. Annie's husband, John Fosh was a member of the Salvation Army Band. They lived in the basement of Annie's father's house at 86 Albion Drive. Later, Annie's daughter, Doreen, joined the Salvation Army.
During her life, Annie kept in touch with many friends and members of the Salvation Army.
Annie died in 1958 and on the 27th June, her funeral took place at the Haggerston Salvation Army Hall.
