Object history

Poster advertising a jumble sale to raise money for Save Hackney, a broad campaign bringing together community groups 1983-1986 to oppose rate-capping and funding cuts.

During the 1980s young musicians worked together to create their own spaces for exploring, teaching and learning music. Pyramid Arts Development, Dalston provided a space for a range of artists, including musicians, to develop and showcase their work.
