Physical Description

This metal mangle has been partly painted green. This type of mangle would have been used by a shoe maker. The concave and convex rollers are turned by the hand crank and used to flatten or shape leather, fabric and materials.

Mangle used for leather at Albert Morris Tattam Shoe Repairs which was based at 2A Brodia Road, Stoke Newington.
