Physical Description
An A5 book with a dark blue cover which has 'SETTINGS AT RANDOM' embossed along the top of the cover page in blocky capitals. At the bottom right corner are the initials I.L.W embossed in script font. The book is a written collection of 'Observations', 'Experiences' and 'Ideas' written from the personal perspective of Israel Louis Weinberg. The content is made up of short musings, thoughts and opinions written when the author had time in between printing work. He speaks about different manufacturing industries, politics, travel, printing, childhood and more. There are also diagrams - some of printing techniques - and poems throughout the book. This version includes two introductory pages featuring a tribute to the author's wife and a quotation written in Hebrew.
