A brown rounded instrument made out of a gourd with white text written around it. This is a cabaca used as part of the musical instrument, Berimbau.
This Cabaca was part of a Berimbau owned by Tanzanian musician, Freddy Macha. Born in Tanzania, Freddy Macha toured the world playing music. While living in Brazil, he came to the UK as part of his music tour in the 1990s. He officially moved to Stoke Newington in 1996, where he regularly performed at Bar Lorca.
