Object history

This fold out leaflet shows the journey Kidar Singh Sharma took from Mumbai to Britain in 1951. On the front he has written his name so he could identify the leaflet, as well as the details of a fellow passenger and a reference to the Hindu festival of Dushera, which was celebrated on 10 Oct 1951, while he was travelling.
