Personal experiences
"It was very much a labour of love, and I think that showed in people’s reactions to its closure, which we had to do, because the building is falling to bits. I think we ruined that building, we literally sucked the cement out of every brick, until it was just a husk on the building. And we’re just carrying that on with our new building, the divine, which is bigger, better, more solid and we have a lease for 10 years so we’re not going anywhere, so basically its helped us get to this stage. So we’re very proud of what we did with that community and what we did with the building. I will miss that beautiful old dickensian pub".
