During the 1990s EMASHI provided opportunities for people to experience and explore African arts, culture and music through workshops.
One of the leaders, Ngozi Fulani, had her first experience of seeing an African dance group in 1982 and it changed her life. She joined the African dance group and has run it for over thirty years.
