The SOS NHS coalition was created in 2022 backed by 55 organisations including campaign groups, health and trade unions, and professional bodies. It demanded emergency funding for the NHS and called for an end to private sector involvement. It also demanded proper pay for staff to end what it saw as staff shortages that put lives at risk.
