Object history
The Elizabeth Garrett Anderson hospital in Euston Road, providing health care to women in central London. In 1976 the Camden Area Health Authority announced it's planned closure. The campaign to saved the hospital continued until 1979 when it was converted to a small gynaecological unit following the election of Margert Thatcher's conservative government. This badge was owned and worn by Hackney councillor Peter Kahn.
