Object history

Barnes Studio was a music studio ran by Henry Barnes in Stamford Hill. It was closely connected to his record label, Cougar Records. Barnes has worked alongside and released the music of many Hackney based artists.

Just a few words about this lady. Yvonne was born in Jamaica in the parish of St. Ann where some of Jamaica's most famous people were born. Such like Bob Marley, Marcus Garvey and a few more others. Yvonne has been singing for quite some time now, but has been mainly kept in the background. I myself must say I find Miss Curtis very talented and versatile for she has done a few recordings of Reggae, Soca and Balads. This is Yvonne's first album ad I hope you enjoy it the way i have enjoyed every moment listening to it. Good luck Miss Curtis
